More About Me

Cori is a true kama'aina, or Hawaii local. Based in Kailua on the beautiful island of Oahu, Cori is an expert in the nuances of the Hawaii real estate market, and she is a trusted resource for both her clients and other Hawaii real estate agents alike. Cori has developed a superlative reputation of reliability and trustworthiness: her clients know that she will get them to the closing table, and other agents trust that she will bring expertise and competence to the transaction.

Cori began her real estate career in 2003 after a successful and challenging career as a NICU nurse and then as vice president of a national healthcare company. She loved her healthcare career but felt she had more to offer her Hawaii community. When she made the transition to real estate, Cori found that many of the business skills she developed, namely her powerful negotiating skills and her understanding of risk management and legal sensitivities, carried over perfectly. Today, Cori is a remarkable and steadfast negotiator who successfully navigates complex real estate transactions with integrity and respect.

"Integrity and respect are my core, foundational principles," says Cori. "Everyday, I want to be able to look at my clients, and across the table at the other agent and their clients, and I want it to be crystal clear to them that they will be treated with the utmost fairness and courtesy." And it shows: she has been nominated for the Aloha 'Aina award every year of her career, and in 2006 – only 3 years after she began working as a real estate agent – Cori won the Aloha 'Aina Realtor's choice award, an award given to agents known for their fair dealings with other Hawaii Board of Realtors members.

Cori's dedication to her craft has brought other successes as well, including several prestigious realtor designations. Cori is a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, has earned the Designation of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, and is a member of the CLHMS Million Dollar Guild, whose designees are required to have sold properties in the $1,000,000 or more range. She has also earned the designations of Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), and Certified Residential Property Specialist (CRS).

"I absolutely love what I do, and I am so passionate about it," Cori says. "My job is to help my clients buy and sell homes, but my responsibility to them goes so far beyond. If I am helping a couple who are first-time buyers, for example, I am not just helping them purchase their first home. I am helping them begin their new life as a little family where they will create lifelong memories. I am helping them decide where they will raise their children, and where their grandchildren will come to visit and be spoiled. Or if I am helping a family relocate to Hawaii from the mainland, my responsibility is to help them find a sanctuary that will make their new transition easier. Where are the best schools for their kids? The safest neighborhoods? The best locations to catch Hawaii's soothing trade winds? All of these factors weigh in with my relationship with my clients – I am not simply finding them a house to buy, I am helping them write a new chapter in their lives." And it's true: Cori has built a reputation and an extensive network such that she works by referral only, which allows her to allocate 100% of her time to serving her clients. In fact, many of Cori's clients have become friends with one another! Cori isn't just their realtor, she becomes their friend and their advocate.
